Tattoo Stages

Here are my last three stages of my tattoo - or should I say my half sleeve. I know what many of you are thinking - "Joe, we knew you were nuts, but this is ridiculous?" Don't worry, this is not the result of a three-day drinking binge or a dare by Shawn, I was contemplating this for a couple years. The tattoo is a koi fish swimming upstream and morphing into a dragon. Look it up if you need more explanation - but it has some shit to do with conquering your trials and tribulations, who knows - I just thought it looked cool. And it has increased my "P" Factor lately. Chicks seem to dig it.

And recently, one girl told me that it makes her want to "Lick me". So if you are thinking about getting a tattoo, the important thing is to do research into the artist, and PAY MORE (good tattoos aren't cheap, and cheap tattoos aren't good). I have one more session to add some more gray. I was upset last week because I didn't like the color but now it is growing on me.

Head Tattoo - Suck

What is the deal with this tattoo idea? Who did this tattoo design and why did no one talk him out of this? That skull tattoo on the back of his head is just an ugly tattoo gone bad. Notice how out of center that thing is? Maybe this tattoo artist is just a visionary and his abilities are so amazing that we can not fully grasp the awesomeness of this tattoo? Or maybe I am just being sarcastic and really think that this tattoo sucks balls! I would be willing to bet the farm that this man has “Tattoo Regret” from time to time and may wear a hat allot after children laugh and point and the green brains and 3rd grader’s drawing of a skull. I vote that this tattoo win an award of some kind! Who is with me?

Flower tattoo Designs

The most well known tattoos of the natural style of tattoos are the flower tattoos. Almost all the available flowers can be used as a tattoo design but the most prominent of all the flower tattoo designs is the rose flower tattoo design.

Flower tattoos have a very ductile way of representing the idea of a tattoo wearer and hence the consumer themselves can fix up the meanings of their tattoos from a symbolic outlook. Generally a rose is used to exclaim a romantic mood but with a good tattoo artiste the rose flower tattoo design can also be used to depict a menace or some dark incidents. Different colors of roses imply different meaning and for example rose flower is used to express clandestine love, white rose is used for representing simplicity and also enchantment while yellow roses can used for flagging love or else they may warn of greed. Not only flowers are used as tattoo designs, even flower buds are used as tattoo designs as in the case of rose buds which are used for depicting youth and chastity. Then comes the red rose as known by all is used for symbolizing love and passion for a person.

The flora has been in existence right from the birth of the world and all the countries in the world consists of some beautiful and even some distinct rare flowers. Hence flowers are admired all over the world for their beauty which is the sole reason for the popularity of the flower tattoos. It is believed that the flower tattoos were in existence from the very birth of the tattoos in the very olden days. The people from all over the world seem to get fascinated by the very look of the flower tattoo designs for years and years.

It is already mentioned earlier that rose tattoo is the most popular tattoo of all the flower tattoo designs. Even then, some of its major competitors are the lotus flower and water lily tattoo designs. These type of tattoos (i.e.) the lotus and lily tattoos are more popular in the eastern regions of the globe while the rose flower tattoos are more popular in the western regions of the globe. It can also be said that the lotus and rose flower tattoos are the most prominent tattoos amongst the flower tattoos, in general. Lotus has been very prominent in the Indian and the Chinese culture. It is believed that Buddha arose from the centre of the lotus flower in China. Lotus also has so much importance in Indian mythology too. Hence the lotus flower tattoos are vey prominent in the east than in the west.

Apart from lotus and rose there are also other flower tattoos like the hibiscus tattoos which is very popular among the women in the Hawaiian Islands. It is available in two colors appealing red and yellow with some petals that are few in number when compared to a rose flower and it is surrounded by a seed that protrudes from inside. As flowers are generally associated with women you can’t find men having a flower tattoo easily. Some other available flower tattoos are daffodil flower tattoos which represents deceitfulness, dreams, unaccomplished love and also cognizance.
